Lucienne Martínez: Linguist, educator, art therapist and proud mother of two wonderful human beings. Usually promenading around the school with a mug of coffee. I teach Spanish and English. Throughout my life, I have studied 9 different languages - which doesn't mean I speak them all. What I enjoy more in a class are those moments when students make connections between language and culture and they start seeing the world from different perspectives. I believe that one of the most important roles of teachers is to make students become critical thinkers and make them part of community service activities. I have lived in Peru, Spain, Brazil and Singapore. I love traveling, tennis, jogging, pilates and photography. I started taking painting and ballroom dancing classes a several years ago. I support a house of teenage moms. As a certified Art Therapist I believe that art is one of the best catalysts to soothe the soul.
